9. Continue looping your owl as usual. Loop the outside pegs of the head shape, then loop the middle pegs. Secure the final loose loops with a single gray band pulled into a slipknot. Remove your owl from the loom.

10. To make the tail, wrap three gray bands around your hook twice, then attach them from the first to the second peg. Wrap two gray bands around your hook twice, and attach them from the second to the third peg. Wrap a single gray band around the third peg four or five times as a cap band.
